You are my Shining Star;
My Hope in an ocean of black.
You are my Light in times
When all other lights go out.

You illuminate my darkest places,
Forever filling me with bliss.
Even through the clouded night,
And even if the sky should fall.

You are always there for me;
My Constant in a sea of change.
I cling to you when the waves turn rough,
And even when the calm prevails.

You make my life worth living;
Allowing me to see the hidden.
You show me my potential
All of which I never would have seen.

You love me more than I could ever know,
Continuously showing me you care.
Proving that I’m someone worth it,
Worth all the time you spend on me.

You protect me from the woes of life,
Guarding me from pain.
You tell me what I need to hear
And ease the problems that persist.

You help me realize my fears
Are nothing more than twisted thinking.
And sit with me late at night
To unravel my distorted mind.

You are my Everything;
You do it all and still I ask
Why you even try,
But now I think I understand.

You love me so much
And do it all to prove
That I really am that perfect
In your loving eyes.

You do all this for me.
Making my life better day by day.
But now I have to wonder,
Can I be your Everything?
